Peninsula: Director of Public Prosecutions Starts with Daily Intelligence

: Prosecutor Li, killing your own relatives for the sake of justice?Late at night, at home.

Park Yeonjin had been feeling a bit down lately; she felt incredibly sibal unlucky.

This morning, when she went to drop Ye-sol off at school, she actually ran into Moon Dong-eun!

Not only had Moon Dong-eun not disappeared from this world, she had even become a teacher.

Park Yeonjin scoffed inwardly, thinking, ”Sunflower Elementary School really lets just anyone become a teacher.”

Park Yeonjin and Moon Dong-eun, like fated enemies, clashed the moment they met, with Moon Dong-eun nearly choking her to death.

She was practically dying of anger!

So, Park Yeonjin deliberately skipped work at the meteorological station today to tell the group about Moon Dong-eun’s return.

Lee Sara and Choi Hye-jeong met at a luxury store.

The three discussed Moon Dong-eun’s comeback, surprised by her changes, but they didn’t take Park Yeonjin’s words seriously.

They didn’t believe Moon Dong-eun could have changed so much; their impression of her was still stuck in their school days.

After all, none of them came from a humble background, so they never took ordinary people like Moon Dong-eun seriously.

Especially Lee Sara, who came from a wealthy, pastoral family; her parents were pastors of a certain church with tens of thousands of followers.

They were also a prominent gentry, influential local figures, and involved in some illicit businesses, such as money laundering.

The more dismissive Lee Sara was, the more anxious Park Yeonjin became, and the contrast between them made Park Yeonjin feel foolish.

Lee Sara also felt that Park Yeonjin was a Little Gangster Girl from head to toe, even after becoming a prosecutor’s wife.

She still couldn’t change her true nature.

This condescending attitude infuriated Park Yeonjin.

”Sibal!” Park Yeonjin cursed under her breath, tossing her rare designer bag onto the sofa and kicking off her high heels as soon as she entered the door.

She stormed back to her room and, standing at the doorway, suddenly noticed the light still on in the adjacent room.

Park Yeonjin’s expression froze, and she wondered, ”It’s three in the morning; is Lee Se-hyun still awake?”

She suddenly smelled something, her brow furrowing. Although she occasionally smoked graphite king on weekdays.

Today was Friday!

Ye-sol was home!

Ye-sol couldn’t stand the smell of smoke.

Park Yeonjin’s face fell. Standing at the doorway of Lee Se-hyun’s room, with a slouching posture, she saw as soon as she entered... Lee Se-hyun standing on the balcony, silhouetted against the moonlight, surrounded by swirling smoke.

Park Yeonjin looked at the cigarette butts scattered on the floor and complained, ”Axi! Lee Se-hyun, what are you doing?!”

”Are you crazy?!”

Park Yeonjin’s eyes scanned the area, estimating at least a dozen cigarette butts on the ground.

She exclaimed inwardly, ”He must have smoked dozens of them; is he trying to fly to heaven?!”

Even when she was a Little Gangster Girl in her student days, she wouldn’t dare to go that far.

”Yeonjin?” Lee Se-hyun snapped out of his thoughts, heard the familiar voice, and turned to look at Park Yeonjin.

”Michyeosseo?!” Park Yeonjin, smelling a strong odor of smoke, said with a look of disgust, ”Don’t you know Ye-sol hates it most when people smoke graphite king?”

”You reek of smoke; you’re practically a smoke-person.”

”I’m sorry,” Lee Se-hyun said, stubbing out the cigarette butt, ”I forgot.”

”You...” Park Yeonjin looked at the weary Lee Se-hyun, her harsh words almost coming out but then she held them back.

”I’ve been under a lot of stress lately,” Lee Se-hyun said, rubbing his temples, trying to return to a normal state.

”Stress?”

Park Yeonjin had never inquired about Lee Se-hyun’s career before, and suddenly remembered that Lee Se-hyun was an imposter Prosecutor.

After spending so much time together, she almost forgot her identity as Lee Se-hyun’s sister-in-law.

Park Yeonjin didn’t know how to comfort Lee Se-hyun, and finally, it came out as a murmur.

Park Yeonjin grumbled, ”Axi! You stink! Go take a shower quickly! Wash all the smell off you.”

”Okay,” Lee Se-hyun said, ”Then I’ll go shower first? So Ye-sol won’t smell it tomorrow.”

Park Yeonjin bit her lower lip, nodded, and said nothing.

Just as Lee Se-hyun was about to leave, he turned back and asked, ”Oh, and why are you home so late today?”

”Ah?!” Park Yeonjin stammered, flustered, ”No, I just went shopping with Lee Sara and them, then we discussed some things.”

”What things?”
