Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

262: Xiao Jia was extremely excitedXiao Jia looked excitedly at everyone around him, especially those who had prosthetic limbs.

”Mom and Dad, am I going to get these prosthetic limbs too later? Can I run freely on the ground like these older brothers and sisters?”

Xiao Jia looked at his parents with anticipation, his eyes full of light.

Xiao Jia’s father and mother, their eyes brimming with tears, saw that ever since the accident, their son’s eyes had been dull and lifeless, unlike today.

”Yes, son, you will also be fitted with prosthetic limbs like these older brothers and sisters later.”

Xiao Jia’s father couldn’t help but shed a tear, his son was finally back to normal.

Just then, a girl with a prosthetic arm walked over.

”Little brother, don’t be afraid. You’ll get this prosthetic limb just like us later.”

”This is a prosthetic limb personally supervised and designed by Academician Zhang Yuanhang.”

”With it, we can live like normal people, and now many normal people even hope to get prosthetic limbs.”

The little girl’s words were full of pride, and she also comforted the excited Xiao Jia.

”Really? Do normal people really want to get this prosthetic limb?”

Xiao Jia was full of questions, wondering why normal people would want a prosthetic limb.

”Of course, I’m not lying to you.”

”Prosthetic limbs can do many things that ordinary people can’t.”

”For example, a prosthetic limb can easily lift three to four hundred kilograms, and it can also monitor our body’s health.”

”And foreigners are so envious of us now; in their countries, getting a prosthetic limb can cost hundreds of thousands.”

”But in our country, you just need to sign up. The country will install it for you for free, and the quality difference between the two is like heaven and earth.”

The little girl’s tone was full of pride; being a Hua Xia person was the proudest thing in her life.

Xiao Jia’s eyes gradually filled with light upon hearing this, while Xiao Jia’s parents looked gratefully at the little girl, thanking her for comforting and advising their son.

”Thank you.”

Xiao Jia’s parents looked at the little girl with gratitude.

”It’s nothing, it’s nothing.”

The little girl waved her hand, indicating it was nothing.

Xiao Jia’s parents held Xiao Jia’s hand and soon arrived at the registration desk.

”Here, take this. This is your identification tag. A robot will guide you to the second floor later.”

”There, you will undergo a series of examinations and surgeries.”

The registration desk was manned by a robot. The robot, with a smiling face, handed the identification tag to Xiao Jia’s parents and told them to keep it safe.

Xiao Jia’s father’s hands trembled as he took the identification tag, then put it into his inner shirt pocket.

He was afraid that if he accidentally lost it, his son would not be able to undergo the surgery. If that happened, he would surely jump from the 10th floor.

Xiao Jia and his parents took the identification tag and went to the second floor. Under the robot’s guidance, Xiao Jia entered the examination room, while his parents stood embracing outside, watching Xiao Jia undergo a series of examinations inside.

And this scene was playing out across the country, while those who had lost their sight were also undergoing examinations.

In the near future, they too would undergo surgery to restore their sight; they would see the light again.

And these changes made people abroad envious beyond words.
