Build a Fifty-meter Giant Mecha at the Beginning!

166: Heading to the moon to install electromagnetic rail guns, anti-gravity vehicles begin mass production!Just then, the person in charge of the Electromagnetic Railgun came to Academician Zhang Yuanhang’s side.

”Academician Zhang Yuanhang, we are facing a problem now.”

”Our launch speed could be faster, but we have to package the goods to prevent them from being severely burned by friction when passing through the atmosphere.”

”Can we use something similar to a container, made of heat-resistant ceramic tiles and titanium alloy, to load the goods and then launch them?”

The person in charge took out a model and a piece of paper with relevant data on it and handed them to Academician Zhang Yuanhang.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang looked at it and saw that the size did not exceed that of the Electromagnetic Railgun, so he nodded, ”This size is just right; it can be used to load goods.”

”Alright, alright, then Academician Zhang Yuanhang, I’ll have someone customize it right away.”

The person in charge showed a beaming smile.

By using this type of container to load goods, they could save at least half the time.

This would allow the Electromagnetic Railgun to achieve its maximum launch speed.

After the person in charge of the Electromagnetic Railgun left, Academician Zhang Yuanhang walked towards the workshop where the second Electromagnetic Railgun was being manufactured.

Academician Wu was leading his researchers in completing the manufacturing of the last component.

”Xiao Zhang, you’ve come at just the right time; we just finished the last component.”

Academician Wu and others smiled as they looked at Academician Zhang Yuanhang.

”Very good, now it can be sent to the Electromagnetic Railgun to be launched into Space.”

”Then we will go to the Moon to install the Electromagnetic Railgun, and after that, we can fully produce Electromagnetic Railguns.”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang laughed, saying that the production line for the Kunpeng Space Freighter on the Moon was also nearing completion.

Once the Electromagnetic Railgun was installed on the Moon, Kunpeng Space Freighters would be mass-produced.

”Xiao Zhang, let the young people handle this matter.”

”The base can’t do without you!”

Upon hearing Academician Zhang Yuanhang mention the Moon, the elderly Academician Wu, as if possessed by Su Bingtian, instantly appeared beside Academician Zhang Yuanhang.

He gripped Academician Zhang Yuanhang’s hands tightly.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang felt as if his hands were caught in a pair of large pliers.

”Academician Wu, don’t worry, I won’t be going up.”

”At that time, it might be up to you to go up personally.”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang knew that the motherland would not allow him to do such dangerous things now.

At the same time, Academician Zhang Yuanhang looked at Academician Wu with concern.

Academician Wu had been with him the longest for this Electromagnetic Railgun, and he would definitely need to lead the team personally to install these Electromagnetic Railguns.

He wondered if Academician Wu’s body could withstand it.

”Yes, Xiao Zhang, I will go personally at that time; don’t think I’m old.”

”But I’ve kept my body in very good shape.”

Academician Wu saw Academician Zhang Yuanhang’s concern and patted his chest, saying.

”Mhm, mhm, Academician Wu, please take care of your body then!”

Academician Zhang Yuanhang certainly didn’t want Academician Wu to collapse.

Academician Zhang Yuanhang had been cooperating with Academician Wu for all these years, and their collaboration was quite harmonious.

”Mhm, mhm, Xiao Zhang, I won’t chat with you anymore; I’ll go prepare now.”

Thinking that he would soon be leading a team to the Moon, Academician Wu was a little excited.

He hadn’t expected that with one foot in the grave—no, rather, his entire body below his head—he would still get to visit the Moon.

At this moment, Academician Zhao, who was building the Anti-gravity car production line, learned that his good friend Academician Wu was going to work on the Moon, and for a moment, the word ’envy’ filled Academician Zhao’s eyes.

”Damn it, I didn’t expect Old Wu to actually get to go to the Moon.”

Academician Zhao said.

”Academician Zhao, the production lines for all three types of vehicles have been completed.”

Just then, a worker quickly ran over, smiling as he said.

After several months of working overtime, the production lines for the three vehicle types—sports cars, sedans, and trucks—were finally completed.

The Shancheng Leader also arrived upon hearing the news.
