162: The development of electromagnetic railguns began, and nanoworm intercontinental missiles came into being!Everyone nervously watched Song Jiang.

”Everyone, we succeeded!”

Song Jiang took a few breaths of air and nodded.

”Yeah!”

Everyone present cheered and took off their helmets.

The news of Guanghan Palace’s success was immediately sent back to Shancheng Military Base.

”Very good, tell the people on the Moon to speed up the process and install gravity simulators in all developed areas as soon as possible.”

Zhang Yuanhang said.

After speaking, he buried himself in work again. This time, Zhang Yuanhang intended to research the Electromagnetic Railgun he had previously acquired.

This would significantly speed up the transportation of supplies in the future.

”Little Zhang is starting to research something new again?”

When Academician Wu learned of this news, he rushed to Zhang Yuanhang’s office without stopping.

Looking at Zhang Yuanhang, who was drawing blueprints, Academician Wu shouted, ”Little Zhang, you just finished with the Nano-bugs. Why don’t you take a break?”

Academician Wu was truly worried that Zhang Yuanhang would fall ill if he continued like this.

”Academician Wu, don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”

”Moreover, what I’m researching this time is something I designed a long time ago.”

To reassure Academician Wu, Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

”Really, or are you just saying that?”

Academician Wu looked at Zhang Yuanhang suspiciously.

Although he knew Zhang Yuanhang was incredibly capable, Zhang Yuanhang was researching Nano-bugs before, so where would he have had the time to research new things???

”Of course, if you don’t believe me, Academician Wu, come and see my Electromagnetic Railgun!”

Zhang Yuanhang said, pointing at the blueprint on the table.

”What!”

Hearing Zhang Yuanhang’s words, Academician Wu’s eyes widened.

Electromagnetic Railgun!!!

Academician Wu quickly went to Zhang Yuanhang’s side and looked at the blueprint on the table, immediately gasping in surprise.

”Academician Wu, the Electromagnetic Railgun I designed has a maximum range of 400,000 kilometers!”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile.

”Hiss!”

Academician Wu thought for a moment; it seemed the average distance between the Moon and The Entire Blue Star was also around 400,000 kilometers!

”Then, Little Zhang, what about the speed of the projectile fired by this Electromagnetic Railgun?”

Academician Wu immediately asked.

Zhang Yuanhang didn’t speak, he just held up one finger.

”Mach 10!”

Academician Wu became excited; this speed was much faster than some intercontinental missiles.

”No, no, Academician Wu, guess again.”

Zhang Yuanhang smiled. He was joking; how could it be that slow?

When Academician Wu heard Zhang Yuanhang’s words, his eyes almost popped out, and he stammered, ”Could it be Mach 100???”

”Little Zhang, don’t trick this old man!”

Zhang Yuanhang nodded, ”Academician Wu, you’re right, it’s Mach 100!”

”But Little Zhang, with such a high speed, if it were launched on our The Entire Blue Star, wouldn’t any projectile turn into ashes?”

Academician Wu asked.

”Exactly, which is why I just said the Electromagnetic Railgun’s range is only 400,000 kilometers, because by that time the projectile would be gone.”

”However, at this stage, we don’t need to worry; I don’t think such a situation will occur.”

”But if this Electromagnetic Railgun were taken into Space, it would be extraordinary.”

Zhang Yuanhang said with a smile. Space is a vacuum environment; as long as there’s nothing in front of the projectile to block it, it can fly indefinitely.

In other words, the Electromagnetic Railgun would have an infinite range in outer Space.

”Yes, but this Electromagnetic Railgun must consume a lot of energy, no, no...”

Academician Wu initially worried about energy issues, but then he looked at the smile on Zhang Yuanhang’s face and immediately smiled himself.

Zhang Yuanhang had already mastered Nuclear Fusion reactions, so how could he possibly lack energy!!!

”Little Zhang, I’ll help you out.”

Academician Wu rolled up his sleeves and joined in. Academician Wu had completely forgotten that he originally came to persuade Zhang Yuanhang to rest.

Half a month later.

Good news had already come from the Capital: the Academician team had combined Nano-bugs with intercontinental missiles.

The Top Leader and Old Wang learned the news immediately.

”Very good, Chief, would you like to see the power of this Nano-bug intercontinental missile?”

Old Wang looked at The Top Leader.
