National Fortune Golden Shovel: I Can See Hidden Bonds!

65: Chapter 66 A Storm is Brewing! The Second Rule Update for the Arena of Gods!Over the next few days, the leaders of various countries felt like their heads were about to explode!

There was no way around it!

Truly, no way at all!

The contestants on the field were their current trump cards, so external coaching was simply not feasible!

If their own people wouldn’t work, what about someone else’s? Well, they could... but the question was, why would they do that?

Shen Mo coaches smaller countries to pull the rug out from under us, breaking the status quo we’ve maintained for years by blocking their entry qualifications to the Gods Ladder! Are we supposed to learn from Shen Mo? Sabotage ourselves?

”Your Majesty, why are you rebelling!?” It makes no sense!

What else could they do? They had to swallow their pride and endure it!

Now that the Gods Arena is backing Shen Mo, he doesn’t care about your bullshit military threats. If pushed to the edge, he’d just as soon go down with everyone else. If you dare touch Shen Mo, never mind the reaction from the Dragon Country, even the gods wouldn’t let you off!

So, it could be said that Shen Mo is now like the whip on a carriage, constantly lashing them, forcing them to keep running forward. If they are even slightly careless, they will be overtaken by the small countries!

Who could stand that?

Furthermore, just one day after Shen Mo helped Persia win their match, the Gods Arena simultaneously released a rule update announcement!

[ Gods Arena 12.15 Rule Update Announcement! ]

[ 1. Ashe reworked and buffed; attacks can deal damage to a nearby enemy until the end of the battle, stackable! ]

[ 2. Jax damage nerfed... ]

[ 3. Nomsy buffed; excess damage will trigger a Luden’s effect. ]

[ 4. Ahri reworked; ability stacks infinitely and includes true damage; each cast grants an additional Foxfire. ]

[ 5. Jinx true damage removed; changed so that attacks can ignore a certain degree of enemy defense. ]

[ 6. Added Golden Frying Pan. ]

[ 7. Added usage limit to ’lineup shielding card’; changed from unlimited use to once per day! ]

[ ... ]

[ Finally: Regarding external assistance, the Gods Arena, after deliberation, has determined that Shen Mo of the Dragon Country does not have any violations. ]

The announcement was long and verbose with many updates!

But to summarize it in one sentence—keep the music playing and keep dancing, Shen Mo didn’t violate any rules, everyone can disperse.

Once this announcement came out, the leaders of various countries felt like they were about to have a cerebral hemorrhage!

At different times, in different places, the leaders of different countries all had the exact same thought at this moment!

”Fuck Shen Mo!!!”

...

Northern Plains, secret military base!

”Old Man Li, pour some water.”

”You brat, you’re rebelling against heaven, aren’t you! See if I don’t slap you!”

Old Man Li was furious.

This rascal, he was so cocky now that he dared to make him pour water for him?

With a creak, the door was pushed open.

Zhang Zhiwei walked in with a smile on his face: ”Shen Mo, you’ve worked hard these past two days! Haha, you have to admit, although advertising after the match is a bit embarrassing, the effect is absolutely top-notch. I just received news that two more small countries have signed contracts with us!”

Shen Mo laughed: ”Oh? What package, and what are the requirements?”

Zhang Zhiwei also smiled and said: ”The basic package, but those two small countries said they wanted to get the lineup first. As for external coaching, they didn’t actually have any requirements, just saying that if you have time, you can coach them.”

”Isn’t that simple? Didn’t I leave a document file before?”

”I’ve already marked the strength of each lineup, T0, T1, and T2, three levels. Since it’s the basic package, just pick two from T2 and throw them their way.”

Shen Mo waved his hand casually; he was already well-versed in this routine.

And over the past two days, with the Gods Arena rule updates, the situation on the competition field had been turbulent, changing almost daily. The various countries were pulling out all the stops, throwing out their trump cards as if they were worthless.

The lineup shielding card was restricted.

Over in Oil Country, the Syndra lineup used by Hakin was finally exposed.

For a time, countries scrambled to imitate it; Demon Syndra, Heavy Armor Syndra, Shapeshifter Syndra—they all appeared!

Plus, the Arena rule update this time didn’t actually nerf Syndra.
