Venerated Venomous Consort

”Finally I’ve lived long enough to witness a homosexual couple.”

”Both of them are looking fine, too bad that they are gay.”

A slow, heated discussion had somehow interrupted her contemplation. She looked back, only to realize that a circle of people surrounded them.

She coughed and dragged Long Siye along as she left.

”Are you shy?” Long Siye could not help laughing at her but fixed his eyes on her hand instead. It was the first time for her to hold his hand since they reunited. When she first took his hand, he did not feel anything in particular, but now he was filled with joy as she held his hand in hers.

”Not shy at all!” Gu Xijiu could not hold back her laughs, too. ”I do not wish to be circled by the people like a show. Fortunately, I am not a man. Otherwise, I would get myself labeled as a gay. ”

”Then I will be gay!” Long Siye held her hand tightly.

Gu Xijiu did not say anything.

She coughed, ”I think that my sexual orientation would still be normal even if I were born a man. I would be attracted to another girl instead and would not become gay.”

”It is not that hard,” said Long Siye, slowly. ”Don’t forget that I am a doctor; I can perform the transsexual operation.”

”I do want to change my gender manually!” Gu Xijiu interrupted him. She preferred all natural as the way she ought to be.

”I would change, then!”

Gu Xijiu did not know what to say. The person must be crazy, after being a man for almost a hundred years and now he wanted to become a woman.

She would be lying if she said she did not feel moved. Gu Xijiu did not pull back her hand and let him hold it for as long as they walked around the riverside.

She suddenly had a good feeling about it for a whole lifetime. Both of them had already experienced life and death, so everything else seemed to matter less.

Life was dreadfully long and finding someone to fall in love together was never easy. Since she had found the one she liked, she might as well just get married!

Who could guarantee that he would not make another mistake throughout the entire life? It should be fine as long as it was not some major principle mistake.

In this world, people could spend their life together even though they were not in love. After crossing a lot of their entangled paths, finally, they kept coming back together. Who said they could not make it a lifetime?

”Long Siye, the day after tomorrow, I will be celebrating my 15th birthday in this little body of mine for reaching adulthood. Will you come to see me?” Gu Xijiu asked.

Long Siye shed some lights in his eyes, ”Alright!” He understood that she was going to give him an answer on that day,

His Xijiu had always been a bold a straightforward girl.

…

The stars twinkled as they spread out across the vast skies. Each of them had their orbit. Every one of the stars had their destiny.

When one did not understand astrology, it would always seem like nothing had changed when he or she looked up for the stars. What they did not know was some the stars were either rising or falling from the skies – where there was birth, there would be death.

Standing on the massive observatory, The Lord also known as Huang Tu was half lying on a white jade chair. There was a white jade table next to it. On the table, there were some wine, some tea and also some drawings.

The wine was the one that got her drunk before. The tea was the one that she liked and praised. As for the drawings, they were portraits of her.

The lady in the portrait was covered entirely in black with dark, black hair. Her temperament was a little impassive, as she could be seen pulling off some arrogance from her expression. It seemed like she was looking at her.

He took a close look at the portraits and casually wrote a poem on the drawing: It would be better if we have never met. It would be better if I have never felt.

After that, he looked up at the skies for a few moments and realized the rising little star seemed to be shining even brighter.

It was initially a lonely star. However, it was now surrounded by some other stars. Some of them were shining even brighter than it.
