Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

Countless Cave Mansions dotted the long and narrow Spirit Vein on Earth Shadow Peak. This area served as the Ye Family’s Cultivator’s Cave Mansions. Outside one of them, several Cultivators stood waiting. Most of them wore the robes of the Spirit Plant Hall, led by Ye Qingyuan.

Compared to a Ye Family member breaking through to the Nascent Soul stage, breakthroughs at the Foundation Establishment Purple Mansion level occurred every few days on Celestial Shadow Peak and Earth Shadow Peak. Naturally, it was nothing rare, nor did it warrant solemn preparation. However, for the Spirit Plant Hall, the situation was different. Inside the two Cave Mansions before them were two critical figures. One was the Ye Family Elder, Ye Jingyu, who carried several tasks for the Ye Family’s Spirit Plant Hall. Her breakthrough also determined the success of the Qi Blood Transformation Technique. Inside the second Cave Mansion, the Spirit Plant Hall’s Spiritual Child, Ye Yunmei, was undergoing her breakthrough.

Both were attempting to reach the Purple Mansion stage. The only difference was that Ye Yunmei was breaking through before the age of one hundred, whereas Ye Jingyu was making a final attempt. Nearing the very end of her lifespan, she had finally reached the Foundation Establishment Peak and was utilizing the Qi Blood Transformation Technique for one last desperate try.

The situation in Ye Yunmei’s Cave Mansion was visibly much more stable, with her aura climbing steadily notch by notch. In stark contrast, the Spiritual Pressure in Ye Jingyu’s Cave Mansion was erratic—sometimes surging incredibly high, then plummeting extremely low. This was the drawback of the Qi Blood Transformation Technique. It required an exceptionally high level of control. If too much of the Wood Demon’s Demon Essence was transformed, it would negatively impact the True Essence within her body. Conversely, if too little was transformed, it would not be enough to rejuvenate her physical body.

Finally, a ripple of Spiritual Energy spread outward as Ye Yunmei’s Cave Mansion opened ahead of the other. As soon as she walked out, she asked, “Uncle Qingyuan, has Granny Jingyu broken through yet?”

Ye Jingyu had gone into Seclusion slightly earlier than she did. In truth, Ye Yunmei had wanted to wait until Ye Jingyu finished her Seclusion before beginning her own. Just like how Ye Jingyu had once waited outside for Ye Xinghan, she had wanted to stand guard outside, knowing that no matter what happened, the heritage of the Ye Family’s Spirit Plant Hall would not be severed. Unfortunately, she had reached a point where she had to break through, leaving her with no choice but to enter Seclusion.

“Aunt Jingyu is still in the process of breaking through. There shouldn’t be any major issues,” Ye Qingyuan replied.

Unlike Ye Xinghan, who had not used the Purple Mansion Jade Liquid, Ye Jingyu had consumed it after being persuaded by several Ye Family Elders. Because of this, Ye Jingli, Ye Jingyun, and Ye Xingqun—who were stationed in the Eastern Domain—had even taken turns visiting to offer her guidance and encouragement.

Although the Ye Family lacked an abundant supply of Purple Mansion Jade Liquid, the annual Spirit Stone revenue they had earned over the years was substantial. Whenever Purple Mansion Jade Liquid appeared in the Eastern Domain or the Central Domain, the Ye Family would purchase at least one portion, if not buy out the entire stock. Even though the price was steep, the Ye Family believed that as long as their Cultivators advanced their Cultivation, the Spirit Stones they would earn in the future would definitely outweigh the initial cost. This was precisely the purpose behind the Ye Family establishing Spiritual Children.

“Granny Jingyu has prepared for so long; she will definitely succeed.” Ye Yunmei turned around. Without even taking the time to stabilize her newly advanced realm, she waited with slightly reddened eyes. Even when Ye Qingyuan urged her to go back inside and consolidate her Cultivation, she shook her head and refused.

All the Cultivators of the Ye Family’s Spirit Plant Hall were present. How could she, Ye Yunmei, be absent?

Time ticked by. Finally, at the very last moment before the evening glow faded into dusk, the Spiritual Energy inside the Cave Mansion began to riot. Wood Attribute Spiritual Energy circulated continuously. In the next instant, the aura of the Purple Mansion stage burst outward with a resounding BOOM.
