129: Catching an A-level wanted criminal? I’m proud of you!For a moment, Su Mei was extremely shocked.

Looking at this Thief, he was certainly no first-time offender; he likely possessed a certain level of skill.

His gaze was terrifying and ferocious. Even as a police officer who had studied Criminal Investigation, she knew that in this desperate situation, the brutal capabilities of a criminal were immeasurable.

Many excellent police officers would be unable to maneuver in such tight spaces and end up getting stabbed.

However, this Thief had not gained the slightest advantage against Zhang Yu.

”Do you have handcuffs on you?”

”No.”

Su Mei felt a bit ashamed; they simply weren’t issued them.

”Alright then. Tie him to the tree first and wait for your reinforcements to arrive.”

Zhang Yu noticed the shoelaces on the Thief’s feet.

”Please, let me go. I promise I’ll never do it again. I’ll return the bag to you!”

At that moment, the Thief scrambled up and threw the bag directly at the two of them.

At the same time, his other hand reached toward his waist.

”Zhang Yu, he has a gun!”

Su Mei had a sharp eye and immediately realized something was wrong.

This Thief had some tricks up his sleeve.

The moment he threw the bag, he could both distract their attention and block their line of sight.

He was definitely not an ordinary Thief; he must have had serious crimes on his record!

Seeing the opponent pull out a real weapon, Su Mei immediately shouted loudly.

However, in the next second, a scene that surprised her occurred!

Zhang Yu just smiled lightly. At the exact moment the Thief’s finger pulled the trigger, he suddenly kicked into the air, striking the flying bag perfectly.

The bag absorbed the force of the kick and instantly changed direction, its speed becoming extremely fast.

In almost one-hundredth of a second, just as the Thief’s hand pressed the trigger, the bag flying back struck him squarely in the face.

The Thief was knocked down by the bag. The pistol in his hand also fell to the ground.

Seeing this, Su Mei took long strides forward and kicked the pistol further away.

”Zhang Yu, quickly pick up the gun!”

Then, Su Mei knelt on the Thief’s back, pinned his hands behind him, and tied him up tightly with the shoelaces after wrapping them around a few times.

The Thief tried to struggle and resist.

Zhang Yu walked over, holding the gun: ”Don’t move, or I’ll shoot you dead.”

Facing the dark muzzle, the Thief immediately quieted down.

Su Mei, however, was incredibly nervous. Damn it, Zhang Yu, do you even know how to handle a gun? I’m also in your line of fire. If it goes off, I’ll haunt your bedside even as a ghost!

”Woo-woo, woo-woo!” The sound of police sirens rang out outside.

The sound of many police officers’ footsteps approached and rushed into the alley.

”Captain Su, are you okay? We called the Criminal Police Team too!”

Several Traffic Police colleagues rushed into the alley first. They saw the scene of Su Mei on the ground, having tied up the Thief.

”I’m fine, come help quickly, I’m out of strength,” Su Mei shouted.

”Hurry and help.” Several Traffic Police officers swarmed forward and completely subdued the Thief.

Subsequently, several fully armed Criminal Police Officers also arrived.

”Sir, please give me the gun,” a Criminal Police Officer said to Zhang Yu.

Zhang Yu also smiled and handed the gun to him.

”Sigh, we finally caught him.” Su Mei stood up at this moment and wiped the sweat from her brow.

That scene just now was truly a bit perilous.

”Captain Su from the Traffic Police squad?” The leading Criminal Police Captain smiled as soon as he saw Su Mei.

”It really has to be Director Su’s daughter; she is truly a heroine, actually subduing a criminal!”

”Not at all, I am...” Although Su Mei wanted to earn merit, she didn’t want to take credit she didn’t deserve.

Most of the credit for catching this Thief belonged to Zhang Yu. She certainly didn’t want to falsely claim the credit.

However, before she could finish her sentence, Zhang Yu laughed: ”Yes, Captain Su’s skills are truly impressive; it’s a pity she’s in the Traffic Police.”

”This gentleman knows Captain Su?” The Criminal Police Captain laughed too, ”Indeed, I essentially watched Captain Su grow up; she originally studied Criminal Investigation.”

”Captain, there’s a situation,” a Criminal Police Officer said, stepping forward at this moment.

The Criminal Police Captain’s eyes lit up when he heard this. He then stepped forward and looked closely at the criminal a few times.
