My Youth Began With Him

“I…” the man clearly hesitated.

“Don’t listen to her lies, C-sections are harmful. I delivered you without it, she can do it too. The hospital just wants our money…” the old woman kept talking.

Huo Mian couldn’t take it anymore, she pushed away from the man and pushed the woman’s bed out.

“What are you doing? Are you crazy?” The old woman began to panic, seeing Huo Main so determined.

“What are you looking at, hit her,” the old woman encouraged her son to hit Huo Mian.

The man looked at Huo Mian’s eyes and deflated.

“If you dare to touch me, I’ll make sure you regret it for the rest of your life,” Huo Mian’s brows pursed as she said in a cold tone.

“I…”

“I feel sad for your wife, she’s putting her future on a man without a spine. Get out of my way, let me save her.”

Huo Mian pushed the stunned man away and wheeled the bed out with the nurses towards the operation room.

She took care of everything so quickly and cleanly, impressing all the medical staff that was watching.

“Stop her, are you crazy?” the old woman began punching her own son and wailed.

“Mom… Stop, I think that if she doesn’t get surgery right away, she’ll be in real danger,” the man finally said.

“You actually believe the doctor’s lies?” the old woman roared.

“If you don’t believe us, don’t come to the hospital when you’re sick. If you’re so powerful, heal yourself…” one of the doctors couldn’t watch anymore and belittled the old woman.

“How dare you speak like that? You have no manners.”

The old woman seemed to bite whoever she saw, so the crowd quickly dispersed.

“I’m telling you, when that deputy director comes out, I am going to sue her,” the old woman cursed.

“Go sue her then, and by then, we will all watch how the deputy director’s husband puts you six feet under,” the nurses chuckled amongst themselves.

“Deputy Director is so cool,” a nurse excitedly said.

“Yeah, she normally looks so nice and kind, but she really went off on those two… If not for Director Huo, that woman might’ve died along with her son.”

“I heard that when Director Huo was a nurse at the First Hospital, she performed surgery on a woman and got bit by their family. They were treating her kindness with animosity. But anyway, she’s so cool, no wonder Director Wu trusts

“Yeah, that’s why she has a good husband. If I were a man, I would love her with all my heart too. She might not be the most beautiful, but her personal charm is off the charts…”

The nurses said while walking.

When Liu Zhe left the cardiac surgery department, he heard the entire hospital discussing the incident.

“What did our Deputy Director Huo do again?” smiling, he asked his assistant.
