Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

”Here, follow me.”

...

Wen Yu was extremely fast, far outpacing Bai’s speed... Wen Yu didn’t harbor the desire to carry Bai while dashing about, and instead took in the surrounding scenery whilst casually chatting with Bai.

”How is life in the Demon Realm?”

”It’s just as it is. The entire Demon Realm is pungent and emits a sense of decay, like it’s about to perish, although the past few years have not been unfruitful; rather, Ye Nan has gained much, that guy...”

Bai’s tone was drawn out, filled with emotions that seemed both regretful and gratified.

”Ye Nan?”

Wen Yu expressed some surprise.

”Have you not dealt with Ye Nan yet?”

”Deal with Ye Nan? Why would I deal with Ye Nan?”

Bai put on an innocent face, resembling a harmless lamb... Wen Yu didn’t bother delving deeply into this pretentious topic with Bai, and instead brought up another subject.

”Regarding high-level forces of the Demon Tribe... um, do you have any reliable estimates, mainly concerning Level 10 Breakthrough Achievers.”

Upon hearing this question, Bai’s expression immediately grew solemn.

”There are many Level 10 Breakthrough Achievers in the Demon Tribe, although describing them as countless might be exaggerated, truly there are very, very many. I understand your concern: when the Level 10 Level Lock opens... tsk tsk, it would be utter devastation. Even with the power of the former Universe of Immortals and Heroes, nearly getting wiped out in that surge—let me say this, the time it takes for the Level Lock to break open should be postponed as much as possible, the slower the better, especially regarding Level 11 powerful experts. There are quite a few Level 11 powerful Demon Tribe members active—those without authority—I’ve managed to scout three of them... Oh, guess what?”

With this topic, Bai’s smile grew even more exuberant, and despite the lack of individuals around, Bai still acted surreptitiously, whispering secretly to Wen Yu.

”Ye Nan is pretty impressive now, he has contracted a Level 11 Avenging Spirit...”

Wen Yu’s steps halted. Level 11... Tang Haofei had defeated them, and whether Wen Yu can is still an uncertain matter.

”Is there a limitation? I mean, Ye Nan’s abilities must have certain limits, right? Otherwise, if he unleashed a Level 11 Demon Tribe on Earth, hey, the whole world would be his! Hmm, with the Level Lock in place, that would surely be impossible.”

”Hehehehehe...”

Bai emitted a series of peculiar laughs, not denying Wen Yu’s speculation, and instead raised a different topic.

”Are you confident in resolving Da Luo?”

”What do you think?”

”Tsk tsk, Brother Wen Yu, you’re impressive; over the past five years, if talking about changes, yours is the most significant...”
