Apocalypse: Master of Soul Beasts

The three-headed demon dragon teased, ”What’s the matter, Legas? Are you feeling upset? Do you need us to comfort you?”

Legas pouted.

In the light screen, that Soot Skin Demon Fiend also put down the document in hand: ”The Battle Zone India is adjacent to Battle Zone Cathay, it’s considered an important part of our strategy—first Battle Zone Cathay—then Battle Zone India. Losing two battle zones in a row, Legas, you’re not up to it.”

The tone of the words was questioning, but more so teasing—as all seven demon fiends present understood that Earth’s level lock was only at Level 5, so conflicts over battle zones were entirely unimportant at this stage.

Just like in the Universe of Immortals and Heroes back then, at Level 5, demon fiends could hardly stir any waves. It was later that the attacks by the Demon Tribe grew stronger and harder to fend off—until the level lock was entirely dismantled. That was when the Demon Tribe truly showed its strength!

However, losing two large battle zones consecutively meant Legas was somewhat negligent, and now, facing the teasing of the other two demon fiends, Legas watched with indifference, explaining nothing.

”Enough.”

Another Ancient Demon came to Legas’ aid.

The Ancient Demon glanced at the remaining demon fiends and slowly began to speak.

”Losing the Battle Zone India isn’t a big deal. A battle zone gone is gone. Right now, Legas, tell us your thoughts. You connected our communications, certainly not just to share this trivial piece of information?”

Legas extended his fingers, tapping on the table, and finally spoke after a long pause.

”I request to open another battle zone.”

”Oh, where?”

The Ancient Demon asked.

”Battle Zone Africa.”

”Africa?”

The Ancient Demon raised an eyebrow: ”There indeed isn’t a Supreme Commander there, but the situation on the African Continent is very difficult…”

Africa, where mutant beasts roamed rampant and the number of divine beast species was arguably the greatest on Earth’s land. It seemed like a tough bone to chew!

But Legas had his own ideas, ”Firstly, there aren’t many professionists on the African Continent. You all know a professionist’s combat power at the same level is indeed higher than that of mutant beasts. Secondly, the mutant beasts on the African Continent are not organized. The entire Africa is divided into several mutant beast groups under the leadership of a few divine beast species, and their internal conflicts are significant too. Lastly, I think we should first capture a battle zone as the base for our Earth invasion.”

”Hehehehe, you just want to restore your dignity!”

Soot Skin Demon Fiend had some issues with Legas and promptly mocked.

”Yes, I do want to restore my dignity!”

Legas nodded directly, as losing two battle zones in succession made Legas look bad.

With Legas’ frank admission, the conference room fell silent—for strictly speaking, the loss of Battle Zone Cathay and Battle Zone India had little to do with Legas.

The troop arrangements for each battle zone were roughly equivalent. Whether it was any of the seven demon fiends facing Sequence Number 2, they would confront the same dilemma, let alone Legas had already given in, making it unnecessary to embarrass or mock him further.

”Agreed!”

Leading the way, the Ancient Demon spoke first.

”Seconded!”

”Seconded!”

The remaining five demon fiends all agreed.

Legas’ expression improved significantly, speaking seriously, ”This time, I will deploy my secretly trained Level 5 elite team, and I need your help!”

”Sure.”

The fellow Ancient Demon first voiced support for Legas: ”I will send the Third Generation Seed of Destruction, Third Generation Seed of Plague, and Third Generation Seed of Flames!”

”I will support you with one of my younger generation, the strongest in Level 5!” said a Level 11 powerful expert of the Three-headed Dragon Clan.

”I will dispatch a Catastrophe Ancient Tree…”

”I will support you with 10 Level 5 members from super tribes.”

Seeing the six demon fiends express support one after another, Legas finally breathed a sigh of relief, his previously tense expression relaxed.

”Thank you all.”
