You Were Told to Design Software, But You Created Tiktok?!

236: Section 236After all, Wang Mo had not participated in Meituan’s development.

Without a master like Wang Mo,

Meituan’s development speed was already slow, not to mention their limited staff.

Facing Zhang Fan’s doubts,

Wang Mo simply smiled.

“Even if a company launches a group-buying food delivery software before us, what of it?”

“Do you really think,”

“Meituan will fail just because it launches later?”

“Don’t forget,”

“QQ and Blue Wallet were launched more than ten years before WeChat, but the final outcome remained unchanged.”

Listening to Wang Mo’s words,

Zhang Fan was still a bit worried, but he eventually nodded and did not say anything more.

Meanwhile, Zhao Ming, who was beside him, raised a new question.

“But Boss,”

“I’m not worried about Meituan.”

“But what if Sun Qi, that kid, leaks more information about Meituan, ultimately affecting Meituan’s performance?”

Wang Mo continued to shake his head.

“The information he knows is similar to what you know.”

“Do you currently know the specific information about Meituan?”

Everyone exchanged glances, then shook their heads.

“You only showed us the preliminary proposal, and then you directly found a team to develop Meituan.”

“We only know what type of software Meituan is and what functions it will offer; other than that, we know nothing.”

Someone said.

And Wang Mo continued to speak.

“That’s all there is to it.”

Wang Mo tapped his head with his hand.

“All of Meituan’s operational strategies and plans are in my mind.”

“And this,”

“is the key to Meituan’s success.”

“It won’t be long before General Manager Ma realizes that Sun Qi, separated from Junzi Group, is nothing but a useless person.”

After speaking,

Wang Mo scanned everyone.

“Any other questions?”

Everyone shook their heads and did not continue to speak.

Seeing this,

Wang Mo also murmured,

“Then the meeting is adjourned.”

“Don’t be affected by today’s events.”

“Whether Meituan’s existence was known to the outside world in advance or not, it doesn’t really change anything.”

“It will just lead to a lot more cannon fodder, that’s all.”

.

As Wang Mo made the decision

not to let external factors interfere with Meituan’s normal development,

other major internet companies outside

had already convened their own meetings, preparing to launch their group-buying food delivery software.

That evening,

at Ali Group.

“General Manager Ma, do you have any thoughts?”

“Wang Mo’s vision won’t be wrong. The potential of the group-buying and food delivery sectors must be incredibly vast, and they can bring huge profits and new blood to our Ali Group.”

“Many internet companies are probably preparing to act now.”

“We can leverage Ali’s strength to launch our software before them and then capture the market.”

Vice President Qian’s voice echoed in the conference room.

When General Manager Ma decided that Ali Group’s next software would target the blue ocean that Wang Mo valued, this young man, who had only recently returned to China, had already been internally appointed as the person in charge of this software.

And facing Vice President Qian’s question,

General Manager Ma remained silent for a moment.

“The software Wang Mo is launching this time primarily targets two markets: one is the group-buying sector for localized life services, and the other is the food delivery sector.”

“If we simultaneously advance into both areas, we might not truly be a match for Meituan.”

“Furthermore, acting on two markets at the same time might lead to pleasing neither, resulting in a software that is mediocre in both the group-buying and food delivery sectors.”

Upon hearing this,

Vice President Qian was stunned because he heard another meaning in General Manager Ma’s words.

“General Manager Ma, do you mean that,”

“we only need to choose one area, either group buying or food delivery, to attack?”

“There’s no need to target both markets simultaneously like Meituan.”

Listening to Vice President Qian’s voice, General Manager Ma nodded.

“Actually, it’s not just us.”

“Perhaps many other major internet companies will also choose only one track.”

“There won’t be too many companies daring to attack two tracks simultaneously and go head-to-head with Meituan.”

“Some major companies might even choose to target a more segmented area within the group-buying track.”

“This is actually the optimal choice.”

After General Manager Ma finished speaking, Vice President Qian couldn’t help but take a deep breath.

He looked at General Manager Ma.

“General Manager Ma, have you already decided on the direction we should take?”
