38: Chapter 38 Top-Grade Ceramics, Honeycomb Discovered!Little Scar and the others were indeed surprised by An Ke’s early rising.

In their impression, An Ke usually woke up close to noon.

An Ke looked at the bewildered monkeys and found it quite amusing.

“Am I really that lazy?”

Despite their surprise, The monkeys quickly accepted reality.

They began to hoot and holler around An Ke, greeting him.

“I suppose if they could speak like King Kong, they’d be saying good morning!”

An Ke thought to himself.

This time, Little Scar and his group didn’t just bring bananas as usual.

They also brought some small birds and lizards.

An Ke only accepted the bananas and birds, declining the lizards.

After all, lizards didn’t taste particularly good.

And it would just feel weird.

“Now, you lot go practice with the spears and bows!”

An Ke said.

He still had crafting to do and didn’t have time to accompany Little Scar and the others for practice.

Little Scar and the other monkeys were very obedient and did not disturb An Ke.

They began heading off to the side to practice with their spears.

Even those who weren’t practicing sat quietly and watched intently from the side.

As time passed, An Ke finished building his stove.

Next was shaping the bowls.

Bowls were quite important to him at the moment.

With bowls, he could store clean water.

The [Poison Immunity Constitution] could resist toxins, but it didn’t say it could resist parasites.

Therefore, clean and hygienic water was vital.

Secondly, it would allow him to carry water with him.

Currently, An Ke was only exploring along the water’s edge.

The main reason was his inability to carry water.

Once in the jungle without a water source, going deep would be extremely dangerous.

Lastly, if he got thirsty in the middle of the night, he could drink directly.

Before, he had to endure it and wait until daylight to go to the stream for a drink.

After all, encountering a wild beast at night with poor visibility would be very difficult to handle.

It was highly likely he wouldn’t see the sun the next day.

In the wilderness, one must avoid contact with danger to the greatest extent possible.

With bowls, An Ke could not only carry water but also store it, and finally, boil things to eat.

In the future, roasting wouldn’t be the only way to eat.

There would be stews, steaming, and so on.

Just thinking about it made An Ke’s mouth water.

The meaning of life itself was for eating and being naughty.

In the wilderness, since he couldn’t be naughty, the food couldn’t be neglected—it had to be a feast!

Using the firing method,

An Ke quickly finished making a water jug, bowls, and a large pot.

Considering Little Scar’s troop, An Ke made the pot exceptionally large.

With the enhancement of [Top-Tier Ceramic Crafting Technique],

the three major items An Ke crafted were all perfect.

There were no defective products.

This left everyone in the live broadcast room in awe.

Even veteran craftsmen felt inferior.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve had stew; I can try it now!”

An Ke currently had quite a few ingredients on hand.

Wild boar meat, bird meat, bird eggs, and so on.

He put them all directly into the pot, then added some wild plants and leaves that could be used for seasoning to stew together.

This would effectively remove any gaminess while adding fragrance.

With all the ingredients added, An Ke began to fire up the stew.

He started with a high heat to bring it to a boil, then switched to a low heat to simmer.

Controlling the heat was also very simple.

It could be achieved simply by adjusting the amount of firewood.

After boiling for about two hours,

An Ke extinguished the flames and used the residual heat of the charcoal for a final slow simmer.

Another hour passed, and An Ke finally announced it was ready.

A rich aroma drifted out, immediately attracting Little Scar and the other monkeys who were practicing with spears and bows.

Pairs of eyes lit up with excitement as they looked over.

They had never smelled such a fragrance before; all The monkeys stared with wide, round eyes.

They looked utterly impatient with hunger.

Soon, they could no longer resist the temptation and approached An Ke.

The closer they got, the more the aroma made them unable to stop themselves.

The monkeys began to chatter excitedly around the large pot, desperately wanting to eat this delicacy.

An Ke felt a sense of satisfaction and pride at this moment.

It was like a chef whose food had received someone else’s approval.

“Haha!”

“Don’t be in such a hurry, every one of you... wait, every monkey gets a share.”
