My Silly, Sweet Wife

Seeing Su Ze deep in thought, Su Jiu’er was curious but didn’t say anything.

Soon, they arrived at the Night Color Bar.

As soon as they entered, Su Ze saw Li Ruoxuan behind the bar, mixing drinks.

Today’s Li Ruoxuan was wearing a purple top, with her hair tied back, her hands moving swiftly. Su Ze was momentarily taken aback.

The crowd around cheered enthusiastically.

”Sister Xuan, I didn’t know you were so good at mixing drinks!”

”So cool, Sister Xuan, please teach me!”

The bartenders and waitstaff all cheered for Li Ruoxuan.

Li Ruoxuan caught the cocktail bottle in mid-air and poured it into a glass: ”When I was studying abroad, I liked mixing drinks in my spare time. But it was just a hobby then. I didn’t expect it to come in handy now.”

The crimson liquid poured into the glass, releasing a captivating aroma.

Everyone around took a deep breath: ”Sister Xuan, what’s this drink called?”

Li Ruoxuan looked at the red wine, still rippling in the glass, and after a moment’s thought, softly said, ”Let’s call it ’If Only Life Were As It Was At First Sight’.”

”Great name!” Su Ze clapped, walked quickly to the bar, and looked at the glass of wine: ”If only life were as it was at first sight—how many freeze their memories at first sight, unable to forget for a lifetime.”

As he spoke, Su Ze took out a bank card and slapped it on the bar: ”Boss, I’ll buy this glass of wine.”

Su Jiu’er, surprised that her typically taciturn brother could say such poetic words, blinked and looked meaningfully at Li Ruoxuan.

Li Ruoxuan looked up, not recognizing Su Ze right away, and smiled faintly: ”Sorry, this glass of wine is not for sale.”

”Not for sale?” Su Ze laughed: ”Boss, you’re running a business here, how can you not sell the wine?”

”You may not know, our Sister Xuan only allows one person to drink this kind of wine, no one else has the honour.” A waiter said enviously.

”Only one person?” Su Ze was stunned, his heart feeling blocked: ”Does the boss have someone special?”

Li Ruoxuan smiled, picked up the glass, drank it herself, and said to the staff: ”Alright, get back to attending the guests, I’ll take a break.”

”Okay, Sister Xuan, take care.” The staff bowed courteously.

After Li Ruoxuan left, Su Ze, becoming more curious, grabbed the waiter he had spoken to earlier: ”Your Sister Xuan has someone special?”

The waiter, thinking Su Ze was a bit odd, casually said: ”Of course, but our Sister Xuan never tells us about it. Still, everyone knows. Ever since she took over the bar, she enjoys making a drink and drinking it herself every day. Even a fool would know she has someone special.”
