I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Cause of the catastropheThe System’s sudden notification made Xiao Fan realize how abrupt the arrival of the great tribulation was.

Xiao Fan asked in his mind, ”System, what exactly is this so-called great tribulation?”

”Within the boundless Chaos, there is not only the Immortal Realm as a major world; gods, demons, Buddhas, spirits, witches, and others all have their own major worlds. The Universe has myriad races and living beings, so how many major worlds are there?”

”Even for a single race, there isn’t just one major world.”

”Under normal circumstances, the Chaos Origin Tree continuously produces divine materials and immortal medicines, and Dao Legacy, bestowing blessings upon all the myriad worlds, and creates barrier walls between worlds, keeping them separate.”

”However, humans have birth and death, and trees have their flourishing and wilting.”

”When the Chaos Origin Tree enters its decline, beginning to contract and no longer bestowing blessings upon all the myriad worlds, the barriers between worlds will weaken, or even disappear.”

”When the Chaos Origin Tree stops bestowing blessings upon the myriad worlds, the major worlds will no longer have external provisions. To continue cultivating and advancing to higher Realms, they will have no choice but to plunder outwardly.”

”With an internal need for outward expansion and weakening external barriers, collisions between worlds are inevitable.”

”This is a collision of all the myriad worlds, where the weak are prey to the strong. Especially the opportunity for sanctification within, which will make all the Primordial Cultivators of the myriad worlds flock to it, just to seize a trace of the opportunity for sanctification.”

”Hiss, is it that terrifying?”

Xiao Fan couldn’t help but be worried.

He asked with a slight nervousness in his heart, ”Trees have their flourishing and wilting. My Chaos Origin Tree won’t die, will it?”

”Rest assured, after wilting comes decay, and after decay comes new life. The Chaos Divine Tree also cycles in this manner.”

”It’s good that it’s fine.”

Xiao Fan’s hanging heart dropped. He had thought there would be a problem with his tree.

”It’s too terrifying!”

Digging deeper, Xiao Fan wanted to understand the true nature of this great tribulation.

”System, when will this great tribulation reach its peak?”

”Unknown. Perhaps now, perhaps tomorrow, perhaps thousands or tens of thousands of years later. The only certainty is that it will inevitably happen.”

Xiao Fan understood. The contraction of the Chaos Origin Tree was inevitable. When it completely withered, that’s when the world would fall into complete Chaos.

However, none of this concerned him anymore.

”Just take care of my own people. Saving the world or whatever isn’t the task of a small villain like me.”

Xiao Fan had a plan in mind: to provide a home for all his women.

As the two were rushing back, a green leaf floated over, landing precisely in front of Xiao Fan.

”Young Master, this leaf is strange.” Dragon Ningbing stopped, looking at it warily.

Xiao Fan also found it odd; where would a leaf come from in the starry sky?

But he quickly understood.

The leaf began to emit faint glows, transforming into a woman dressed in a green long dress, with tree leaf patterns embroidered on its hem.

The Tree God!

”What do you want with me?” Xiao Fan asked.

”I’m here to report to you,” the Tree God said calmly.

”Report? What is there to report?” Xiao Fan didn’t understand her meaning.

The Tree God spoke slowly, saying, ”Your Divine Tree was cut down by more than half. Those people were organized and premeditated. First, three to five people acted to lure me away and trap me.”

”Then the others went to cut down the tree, stealing the main trunk of the Source Divine Tree.”

”Although those people couldn’t defeat me, they could use a Formation to trap me. After I broke free, I immediately rushed back, but the main trunk already had a huge gash.”

”I came here to tell you that I can no longer leave the main trunk, otherwise the Divine Tree will be uprooted. As for the branches of the Divine Tree, I can only choose to abandon them.”

The Tree God came here to tell Xiao Fan that she could only guard the main trunk of the tree.

Xiao Fan listened, his eyes wide with anger. ”What?!”

”How dare they cut my tree! They really don’t want to live!”

”Remember their appearances. Later, I will visit each of them one by one, ensuring their entire clan is wiped out. Even their earthworms will be split vertically in half, and their eggs will be scrambled.”
