Chapter 1136: Chapter 389: Puppet and Demon Statue (Part 4)

However, within the library, there is plenty of foundational knowledge about puppets, but much less about war magic statues.

Nonetheless, when mentioning magic statues, Rein couldn’t help but recall the imitation Giant Axe Golem Guard he had defeated earlier in Wales County.

As the captor, the related manufacturing blueprints discovered later, Olena had given him a copy.

Rein also remembered that his mentor Mogaro, along with the clay series and rock system puppet masters from the school, had come to Mingster to study the structure of the Giant Axe Golem Guard for some time.

Mogaro’s office.

Rein inquired of his mentor Mogaro about some aspects of the Giant Axe Golem.

”Oh, you mean that imitation Giant Axe Golem Guard?”

Regarding this, Mogaro certainly remembered. After pondering for a moment, he said:

”Well, how should I put it? Although the other party replicated the Giant Axe Golem according to the blueprints, we assessed it and also referred to the records in ancient books. The combat power of this imitation Giant Axe Golem is only about sixty percent of the original.”

”Sixty percent?” Rein asked, puzzled.

”Uh... Simply put, the power core of the imitation, no, to be accurate, the energy device differs too much from the original.”

”Power core?”

”Yes, they used a large energy device to replace the Hellfire Crystal Stone to drive it, but in doing so, the witchcraft attack of the Giant Axe Golem cannot be activated.”

”Moreover, the power disparity also forced the cult creators to reduce its shell design.”

”Otherwise, according to ancient texts, the Giant Axe Golem Guard in the Ancient Black Flame Temple was up to eight meters tall, far from the five meters or so height of the imitation.”

”I see.” Rein nodded.

Just when Rein was about to leave, suddenly, Mogaro called him back, saying, ”By the way, Rein, you...”

But quickly, Mogaro waved his hand hesitantly and said, ”Old age, memory isn’t good anymore.”

Rein looked at Mogaro, faintly guessing something, and said, ”Mentor, if there’s anything difficult, you can talk to me directly.”

”Hmm, will do... Thank you!”

...

That evening, at Rein’s new residence.

Major General Tatia came for a secret visit again.

”Lord Rein, currently, you can freely arrange your schedule, including leaving the Imperial City. However, headquarters is currently clearing some internal traitors, so the tasks in headquarters are not recommended for you, as taking them may pose a risk of exposure.”

”Of course, this process won’t last long. The purging should be completed in about half a month to twenty days,” Tatia said.

”Oh? Is it because of the exposure from the last incident?” Rein raised a brow, recalling several figures instantly.

Tatia nodded with a smile and said:

”Yes, although some don’t have direct evidence for a military tribunal, they will be reassigned. Regarding this point, we actually have you to thank for drawing a lot of them out this time.”

...

The next evening.

Bixiu Mechanization School, Metal System Training Room.

Rein and Audrey, along with four others, exchanged insights on puppet control once again.

”However, your tactics just now were a bit too aggressive. When controlling puppets in battle, the most important thing is not to let the enemy get close.”

”If you only have one battle puppet, it’s best to choose the Sword and Shield Puppet Guard. It can protect your safety and has decent attack power.”

Seeing Alicia’s serious expression, Rein smiled slightly and said, ”Thank you.”

Although Rein didn’t agree with this, he didn’t refute.

Because he could feel that Alicia was speaking from the position of a mentor, genuinely wanting the best for him.

”Something’s wrong!”

At this moment, a male wizard apprentice from the Metal System suddenly ran in, panic-stricken, and said:

”Lady Alicia, my lords, something’s wrong. Just received news that Lord Trevor, stationed at Furious Flame Canyon, has had an incident!”
