Chapter 815: Chapter 304 Opening (Two-in-One Chapter)_4

“Neoro, you’ve forgotten, the captain is a Metal Series Wizard, the Construction School should have the Metal Series witchcraft the captain wants to master.” Angus said with a smile on the side.

“Oh yes, Metal Series witchcraft is rare, the Bixiu Construction School should be one of the few schools.” Neoro showed an expression of realization.

“Hmm.” Rein nodded.

“By the way, you might want to pay close attention to the situation in the city lately, I have a bad feeling.”

As he spoke, Rein told everyone about the reappearance of the oil painting evil spirit.

“It seems very possible that the cult will do something major next!”

“Speaking of which, Captain, we’ve never really had proper combat training for us.” Viery said on the side.

“Hmm, you remind me of that.” Rein nodded.

He had always fought solo, and recently he’s been busy improving Extraordinary Battle Techniques or improving his Profession Level for Great Armor Forger (Transcendent), so since Neoro and others joined, the team has really not done any cooperative training.

This is quite necessary.

Not to mention, Neoro’s scroll alone can grant him a lot of buff-type witchcraft.

For example, Swift Wind can increase his speed by nearly twenty percent.

From the early morning of the next day, the administrative district, church district, noble district, and upper city of Mingster were all decorated grandly, full of festivity.

Although not many people are promoted to Baron and Viscount each year, there are nearly a hundred from the entire Mingster Province.

Among them, nearly half come from the nobles or affluent families in the province city Mingster, so this ceremony directly influences and indirectly affects quite a few nobles.

Additionally, the nobles ranked above Baron in Mingster also received invitations to view the ceremony.

Rein initially wanted to invite his mother Emma and father Old Rein to attend together, but his mother Emma always felt that their image might embarrass their son, so she turned down her son’s goodwill.

Instead, the beautiful woman Jennifer and Jenny accompanied Rein to attend the banquet.

In essence, the ceremony is more symbolic, while the evening banquet is the focus.

Because at the banquet, the newly promoted baron or viscount can exchange with established nobles, and young men and women can also release some hormones.

Around five in the afternoon, as the sun began to set.

The entrance of the golden administrative hall was bustling.

Noblewomen and young ladies dressed in various gowns came one after another, but even in such an environment, the beautiful woman Jennifer by Rein’s side was one of the most eye-catching.

“Lord Rein, hello!”

“Lord Rein, long time no see!”

Many people greeted Rein, as most young sword bearers were awarded the title of Baron, including Angus, Evelyn, and others among them.

Among the sword bearers, Rein, known as the ‘Meister Siege Hammer’ who single-handedly defeated the Obsidian Giant, was naturally famous.

A quarter of an hour later, hundreds of Mingster nobles at various levels and their families dressed grandly gathered below, attending the ceremony with representatives from the Goddess Church, Sword Bearers, and so on.

Rein also saw Ambassador Javier, but Admiral Edward did not come.

Meanwhile, Rein saw the highest ruler of the Mingster Province—the Duke of Minter for the first time.

The Duke was a spirited elderly man with snowy hair, dressed in aristocratic attire, his presence steady and imposing without anger.

Just as the Duke of Minter intended to step forward to deliver a speech, a person dressed like a trusted aide quickly approached and whispered a few words in his ear, which immediately turned the Duke’s face sour.

Since Rein was being awarded the title of Viscount, his seat was arranged in the third row at the front, and his exceptional perception vaguely caught keywords like ‘giant evil spirit’ and ‘cult’.

This made Rein narrow his eyes.

“Could it be the cult plans to act at this time?” Rein thought to himself.
