Chapter 449: Chapter 213: This is 3 Against 1! (2-in-1 Large Chapter)_2

“Sure…sure, Lord Reine!” Vinica nodded immediately.

At this moment, her head was still buzzing.

Anything Lord Reine said, she would just nod her head in agreement.

The main reason Reine wanted to leave in such a hurry was that the noise from his recent fight with Walrode had been too loud.

Secondly, the smell of blood on the other party might attract some unnecessary trouble.

So, for safety’s sake, it was better to leave this place first, especially since he and Vinica had already successfully completed their mission on this small island.

As for the spoils of war, he planned to search Walrode’s body when he returned to Fishing Port Town.

The iron-beaked sea hawks that had been battling the giant white owl had now distanced themselves far from Reine, circling high above the cliff and not daring to come down.

It seemed they had sensed that the two humans who had just fought below the cliff were extremely powerful, and their animal instincts completely deterred them from approaching.

Meanwhile, Great White proudly chirped a few times, took the initiative to grab Reine’s greatsword with its right claw, and his war hammer with its left claw after Reine had killed Walrode.

Additionally, Great White’s beak held Walrode’s white bone hammer, which had also fallen nearby, and it flapped its wings, gliding a short distance to Vinica’s side as if to show off its achievement.

This made Vinica laugh, as she petted Great White’s head and said, “You’re quite clever.”

Seeing there was nothing amiss, Reine quickly picked up Walrode’s still-bleeding corpse and hurried towards the boat.

Vinica, holding four fledglings and the big purple egg, quickly followed.

When Reine and Vinica arrived at the landing point, two special task force members guarding the small boat stared in shock at the bloody corpse in Reine’s hand.

The two were stunned for a full two seconds before they quickly ran over and took Walrode’s body.

“Lord Reine, what… what has happened?” one of the task force members asked in alarm, glancing at Reine’s high-end armor which now had several dents and damages.

He knew about Lord Reine’s strength, for the enemy to have caused so much damage to his expensive armor, their strength must have been extraordinary.

Before Reine could answer, Vinica replied, “We were just ambushed by ‘Skull Crusher’ Walrode, the leader of the Black Sail pirates, but… Lord Reine countered and killed him on the spot!”

Hearing Vinica’s words, the two task force members trembled slightly, looking thunderstruck and stood still for a while, then looked at each other as if to confirm what they had just heard.

They had, of course, heard of ‘Skull Crusher’ Walrode.

Especially since their mission this time, as part of the task force sent to Meister County, was to investigate the Sea God Sect and pirate strongholds, and they had carefully gone over the related materials.

This Black Sail pirate leader, being a senior Great Knight and a Level Three Wizard Apprentice, to be reduced to a dead dog by Lord Reine?

“Hey, what are you two blanking out for, come on and start the boat,” Vinica said, looking at the two task force members, still in shock, and urged them on.

“Okay…okay, Miss Vinica!”

Thinking of the possible dangers ahead, the two boarded the small boat and immediately drove it back towards Fishing Port Town at high speed.

—————–

‘Fisherdragon Squad’ had just arrived at Fishing Port Town.

After interfacing with Major Marica of the naval special task force,

Baron soon learned that the two highest combat powers of the task force, Level Three Wizard Apprentice Vinica and the current Governor of Fishing Port Town, Reine, had both gone to a distant island to capture the young fledglings of the iron-beaked sea hawk.

This made him scowl and he scolded, “That’s complete madness!”

“Both of them gone, the remaining defensive force of Fishing Port Town is virtually nonexistent. If Walrode truly lands here, there will be no one to delay his actions.”

“This… Captain Baron, we have made rather extensive and thorough arrangements,” Major Marica explained.

On the other hand, the Reiman brothers didn’t look too pleased; clearly, this captain didn’t seem to regard them highly.

However, the Reiman brothers weren’t foolish to contradict this battle-hardened imperial navy veteran on the spot.

Just from his formidable aura alone, they knew that Captain Baron was surely a seasoned warrior of the empire’s navy.
