Chapter 168 – 136 Actually…….I am very interested in forging! (Two in one big chapter)_4

Lord Rein, familiar with the path, arrived at the entrance of the manor. Enjoy new adventures from m

At that moment, a maid was already waiting at the door. Seeing Rein, she approached respectfully and asked, “Excuse me, are you Lord Rein?”

Rein nodded and said, “Yes, I am.”

“Please follow me.”

“Alright,” Rein followed the maid into the castle.

After the maid led Rein to a lavishly decorated reception room, she said, “Lord Rein, please have a seat in the parlor. I will immediately go to report to the master.”

As Rein leisurely admired the exquisite decorations of the parlor, a familiar figure appeared at the door.

“Eh? You… You’re Rein?” The Chief Maid Shadia, holding a silver teapot, stared at Rein with a face full of surprise, as if she was somewhat uncertain.

After all, Rein’s physique had changed quite a bit over the past month.

However, when Rein looked up, Shadia confirmed that the young man sitting in the castle’s parlor was indeed Rein.

“How come you are here?” Shadia was still dressed in the black maid’s attire that represented high-ranking servants.

Rein stood up and smiled at Chief Maid Shadia, just about to say something, when footsteps were heard coming from the doorway.

This made Shadia slightly nervous.

She knew that Knight Lloyd was to entertain an important guest that evening.

Thus, she had specifically brought tea, preparing to receive the guest personally.

But now Rein was here, for reasons unknown.

“Right, Rein, you came for the black tung oil, didn’t you?”

“But I remember I showed you the way last time, didn’t I?”

“Rein, quickly follow me, this is the reception room, and an important guest is about to arrive…”

At that moment, Knight Lloyd walked in, accompanied by Perez, the swordsmanship instructor.

The arrival of both Transcendents caused Chief Maid Shadia’s complexion to change!

Lloyd and Perez glanced past Shadia, fixing their gaze on Rein.

This caused Shadia to silently curse ‘oh no’ in her heart!

Though Knight Lloyd was a kind person, as the man in charge of the manor, he was quite old-fashioned and strict with rules.

As for Lord Perez, she could sense the pride hidden deep in his bones.

This pride was not pejorative but more the pride of a knight, proud of one’s own skills!

As Shadia’s brain raced to find a suitable reason for Rein, she heard Lloyd’s hearty laughter, “Rein! You finally arrived!”

The normally proud swordsmanship instructor Perez also smiled at Rein.

For in his heart, Rein’s outstanding Giant Bear Sword Technique had already earned Perez’s recognition.

Ah?

Shadia couldn’t help but widen her eyes suddenly, her lips parting slightly in shock as she watched this unfold.

This… this…

What is going on here!

Could it be that the important guest tonight is Rein?

“Knight Lloyd, Lord Perez, you…” Shadia looked between Rein and the two noble knights.

“Eh, Shadia, you know Rein?” Knight Lloyd, noticing Shadia’s shocked expression, initiated the conversation.

Before Shadia could respond, Rein laughed and said, “Ha-ha, Knight Lloyd, you might not know, but I once participated in the page training at the manor. During that time, Chief Maid Shadia took good care of me.”

“Oh?” Knight Lloyd looked at Shadia with a smile on his face.

“That’s… that’s how it is,” Shadia was still a bit slow to react.

“Rein, would you like me to give you a tour of the castle first?” Knight Lloyd was very thoughtful and did not inquire too much or mention Rein’s page training at the manor.

After all, many people do not like their past, especially the less glorious times, to be mentioned.

“Of course, it would be an honor,” Rein said with a smile.

…

“This is the back garden, but unfortunately, it is now the Frost Month, and many flowers have already finished blooming,” Knight Lloyd explained.

Rein nodded.

Returning to the castle’s back garden now, he couldn’t help but recall the scenes where he and Cleya had sparred here.

…

“This way is the blacksmith shop,” Knight Lloyd pointed to the end of the castle’s first-floor corridor and said.

“Oh? The blacksmith shop?” Rein asked knowingly.

“May I take a look inside? Actually, you two may not know… I have a great interest in blacksmithing!”
