Extraordinary in Reality Through Magic Games

192: Chapter 190 The Possibilities of Combining Modern Weapons and MagicAfter Zhang Mu finished giving instructions to the two, he immediately set off for the village designated for the Resistance Army to settle in.

He needed to find Mr. Mi He to ask if there was a special period when an army could pass through the Silent Forest.

Before even arriving, he actually already had an expectation in his heart; the answer would definitely be affirmative, and asking was just to confirm it.

Even if the answer was negative, it could only mean that Mihe didn’t know.

Making this judgment was entirely due to Joey’s particular concern for the construction site.

Joey was not an idiot; on the contrary, he was quite intelligent.

If the Lagu Kingdom’s army couldn’t cross the Silent Forest, would he be insane enough to offend the City Lord just to pull his Soldiers back to the city?

Zhang Mu was not like those characters in TV dramas.

Holding onto the confidence that ”he absolutely cannot do it,” ignoring abnormal situations.

Only to have the enemy strike from the most unexpected place, deliver a fatal blow, and then exclaim with astonishment, ”Impossible!”

With the premise that ”the enemy army will pass through the Silent Forest,” Zhang Mu pondered countermeasures along the way.

As Solon said, emergency recruitment of Soldiers could not form an effective combat force, especially since Gur City lacked high-level Professionals.

Zhang Mu could only look towards the Blue Star side for solutions.

There was no doubt that modern firearms had powerful lethality.

The problem was that weapons had a threshold for use.

Firearms required ammunition to train for precise marksmanship, and people from the Saul Continent who had never seen firearms would even need to first adapt to the deafening gunfire.

For various calibers of howitzers, just calculating the projectile trajectory would take an unknown amount of time to learn.

As for rocket launchers... even Zhang Mu would have to learn them specifically.

Assuming these problems could all be solved in a very short time.

There was another most troublesome point: modern weapons were difficult to cause effective damage to top-tier Professionals.

Regarding the ”Reflective Shield” that Potter had demonstrated, Zhang Mu had no idea how powerful the firepower needed to be to break through its defensive limit.

Frowning and pondering for a while, Zhang Mu suddenly remembered an anime he had seen where magic and technology coexisted.

Adding some magical elements to modern weapons would significantly increase their ability to break through magic shields.

Like magic guns or magic armor-piercing bullets; the main focus was on magical modification.

But it was easier said than done.

”I need a talent who likes to study the principles of magic.

I will personally teach him the principles of modern weapons and let him try to combine them. Hmm... I need to consider confidentiality...

I’ll carve out an independent space in the ’World’ for him.”

Muttering to himself, Zhang Mu quickened his pace, and an hour later, he arrived at a village located at the foot of the mountain.

Walking inside, because he had his Transformation Technique active, the Resistance Army who were familiar with him all curiously sized him up.

Not paying it any mind, Zhang Mu walked quickly to a stone house with a courtyard at the very back of the village.

”Mr. Mi He.” Pushing open the wooden door, Zhang Mu looked left and right.

”You are... Oh, Zhang Mu?” Mihe, who had come out of the house, was stunned for a moment, and after realizing who it was, asked tentatively.

”It’s me.” Dismissing the Transformation Technique, he walked toward the door and asked, ”Is there a time period when an army can safely pass through the Silent Forest?”

”How did you know?”

Mihe’s answer was unexpected, and Zhang Mu was somewhat surprised: ”When did you discover that?”

”A long time ago.” He had a reminiscent expression, ”About ten years ago, I accidentally noticed that every summer, the mid-to-high-level magical beasts in the Silent Forest would go to the far south.

In this way, only low-level magical beasts remain in the Core area and the north.

With several Saint Magicians and Saint Knights clearing the way, it would allow an army to pass through without casualties.”

”Summer, huh...” Zhang Mu muttered to himself, ”It’s winter now, so there’s about half a year left.”

”What happened?” Mihe saw his grave expression and asked curiously.
