Supreme Warrior in the City

Su Yang nodded with a faint smile: ”First, you need to return to the Luan Yu Dynasty. During the upcoming period, you should hide your power and not let anyone discover you are a Saint Emperor. Then, some of those Demon Beast Saint Emperors will seek trouble with you, and you must seize the right opportunity to kill one of them!”

”Kill directly?” Jinghong Saint King asked in surprise, ”Wouldn’t that escalate the situation? Those Demon Beast Saint Emperors have allied with the Guardian God. In the past, your group has killed Demon Beast Saint Emperors, but since the Guardian God couldn’t find you, and since you don’t count as a Saint Emperor of the Demon Beast Clan, the matter ended there. However, if I do it, I am part of the Demon Beast Clan, then the Guardian God will use it to pressure the Demon Beast Clan!”

”It’s precisely about escalating the situation!” Su Yang replied softly, ”Do you know what the biggest problem is in the alliance between the Human Clan and Demon Beast Clan?”

Jinghong Saint King thought for a while and then shook his head: ”I never considered cooperating with the Human Clan, so I truly don’t know what the biggest problem would be!”

”The biggest problem is the arrogance of the Demon Beast Clan!” Su Yang said, ”Don’t you realize? In this Great World, the Guardian God looks down on both the Demon Beast Clan and the Human Clan, while the Demon Beast Clan despises the Human Clan. To put it bluntly, in the Guardian God’s view, both the Demon Beast Clan and the Human Clan are seen as beasts. Yet, the Demon Beast Clan considers themselves as more superior beasts, looking down on the weaker Human Clan. Therefore, the Demon Beast Clan refuses to cooperate with the Human Clan, believing the Human Clan is too lowly to be worthy of alliance!”

Jinghong Saint King’s heart moved slightly; though he never thought this way before, hearing Su Yang speak now, he understood the situation. As Su Yang pointed out, he never considered cooperation with the Human Clan mainly because he never held them in regard.

Previously, when the Human Clan was weaker, the Guardian God and Demon Beast Clan united, splitting the Human Clan apart. For the Demon Beast Clan, the Human Clan was merely food, while for the Guardian God, the Human Clan was just beasts used for farming. In such circumstances, how could the Demon Beast Clan think of allying with the Human Clan?

Simply put, it’s disdain and contempt; the Demon Beast Clan looks down on the Human Clan, hence never considered alliance!
