Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

”I won’t take on any overseas projects for now. I have new projects coming out in the next few months, so staying in China is the most suitable option and it’s also convenient for promotion. And if I’m not mistaken, the release of ’Long’ and the filming of ’Phantom Thief 3’ will both require me to go abroad, so I’ll have plenty of opportunities to go out then. I’ll just put other filming activities on hold for now.”

Xiao He said it very casually.

”Yes, that’s what I think too.”

Liu Rulan nodded and crossed out all the Hollywood scripts that the big foreign companies had sent her: ”If nothing unexpected happens, the third season of ’Yuya’ will start filming in March. If you don’t want to take on any scripts for the time being, then we can wait and talk about it after we finish filming ’Yuya’. There’s no rush, anyway, you don’t need any scripts right now.”

”What you really lack now is a better script and a more suitable character design.”

She paused for a moment, then remembered that it was Xiao He’s birthday today, and several actors from the ”Yu Ye” production team had come to celebrate. This was not only because of their friendship, but also because Zhuang Hongyi was helping out behind the scenes.

But Zhuang Hongyi—

Those are the kind of businessmen who won’t get up early for nothing.

If that’s the case, then the official announcement of the final season of ”Sumiya” should be coming in the next few days.

After all, the core cast and crew have basically been assembled.

As for the other supporting characters... cough cough, actually, despite having a lot of original cast members, guess why the first and second seasons were filmed together in one go?

Because these people only appear in flashbacks later on, as they were all killed by the main villain Yin Qi in the first and second seasons.

Yes, it’s a very real problem. Yin Qi, the main villain, really stopped pretending in the later stages and killed everyone he could. So by the end of the third season, there weren’t many of the main characters left.

If it’s not possible to gather all the people in this group, it doesn’t really matter. There are many ways to replace this part of the storyline. Whether it’s deleting it directly or using content from the first or second season to force a flashback, these are all good and convenient options.

Well, if that’s the case, we should thank Yin Qi. It’s good to have a villain who can kill people. After killing everyone, the sequel doesn’t even need to wait for the cast of the previous film to be assembled. It can start filming right away. This is really a bit of a hellish joke.

Liu Rulan suppressed her urge to complain about this ”hellish joke” and continued to discuss the upcoming itinerary with Xiao He. Just then, Xiao He’s phone rang.

Xiao He glanced at the message on his phone, then chuckled and waved it at Liu Rulan: ”Sure enough, nothing can withstand being talked about. See? As soon as I started talking about it, trouble came knocking.”

Liu Rulan glanced at it and raised an eyebrow: ”That’s good. It seems your work will be back on schedule.”
