Family Cultivation: I can see the prompts

450: Clan meeting and summary (two-in-one, please subscribe for a monthly ticket)The warm early sun shone from the depths of the sea, spreading across the entire Shuangmu Island.

With the crisp sound of the bell, it was as if at this moment, all things awakened, and flowers and plants vied to unfurl.

And the Lin Family members all changed into neat and uniform Family attire.

They came in twos and threes, or in groups, to the Lin Family square.

Today’s Clan Meeting held profound significance for the Lin Family, far surpassing previous Clan Meetings, and every Clan member had meticulously tidied their appearance.

After all, it was the first Clan Meeting after the beast tide, and it was also to determine the Lin Family’s development plan for the next few decades, or even centuries.

The Elders and Hall Masters of the Lin Family all stood at the front, and at the very front of the square was a huge, black lacquer, ebony Eight Immortals Table.

On the Eight Immortals Table was a row of Jade Slips.

Lin Xianzhi sat at the very front. He was the first to rise. He looked at all the Lin Family members, then spoke loudly:

”Distinguished Lin Family members, today we have been a Purple Mansion Family again for decades. The Purple Mansion Cultivators have reached five, and this is inseparable from the efforts of every Clan member!”

”But, this is not the end, but the beginning!”

”For the Family to endure, and even ascend to a Golden Core Family, more effort is still needed!”

Lin Xianzhi organized the Family declaration. All the Clan members were exceptionally solemn. Lin Shiming also saw many long-unseen figures in this vast square.

They usually traveled to various parts of the Family, unable to return to the Family for more than a few times in several years or even decades.

At the same time, Lin Shiming also found that compared to the last Clan Meeting, too many figures were missing.

”A Family cannot be without a Clan Chief for a single day. The Lin Family will also re-elect a Clan Chief today!” Lin Xianzhi spoke again.

And as these words came out, all the Lin Family members also began to pay attention.

Ever since the Lin Family retreated from the Eastern Region, and Lin Houyong passed away, the Lin Family had no Clan Chief. Lin Houyuan had been managing it in his stead, but Lin Houyuan was now also at the Late Foundation Establishment Stage, and he also needed to prepare to Breakthrough to Peak Foundation Establishment, and even temper his heart through experience, in preparation for Breakthrough to Purple Mansion.

”After deliberation, the candidates for acting Clan Chief have been temporarily selected as two people: one is Lin Zewen, and the other is Lin Yanjiao. The term is two years, and the true Clan Chief will be determined at the Clan Meeting two years later!”

”Zewen will be responsible for Lianyun Island, and Yan Jiao will be responsible for matters concerning Shuangmu Island and Tianxiang Island!”

As Lin Xianzhi’s words came out, a huge uproar was immediately stirred.

Lin Shiming also hadn’t expected it, because at this time Lin Xianzhi had also spoken to him, perhaps even to his father.

But then, Lin Shiming understood that the Lin Family naturally approved of Lin Yanjiao, but Lin Yanjiao’s talent was evident. Not only did she have Two Spiritual Roots, but she was also a Heavenly Illusion Spirit Body Cultivator. Her cultivation had now reached the Foundation Establishment Early Stage, and it wouldn’t take too long to Breakthrough to Foundation Establishment Middle Stage.

Neither Lin Yanjiao nor Lin Zewen had expected it, both looking astonished, clearly neither had received the news.

But for both of them, it was a challenge.

Lin Yanjiao, needless to say, was inherently competitive and had always used Lin Shiming as her benchmark in the Lin Family.

As for Lin Zewen, Lin Shiming had watched him rise step by step. His talent wasn’t high, but his appearance was refined, yet when he took action, he was decisive and efficient. He had been deeply cultivating in the Lin Family’s Commerce Hall for many years.

It had already been running for several years.

Perhaps, without considering talent, Lin Yanjiao would be more suitable, but factoring in talent, it allowed Lin Zewen to perform better.

”Thank you, Old Ancestor. Yan Jiao accepts the command and will not fail in her trust!” Lin Yanjiao also bowed.

”Thank you, Seventh Grand Uncle. Zewen accepts the command and will not fail in his trust!” Lin Zewen also spoke.

Only then was Lin Xianzhi satisfied.
